Field of Action: Access to Basic Education & Sustainable Development
Brief Description: This NGDO dedicates its efforts to creating socio-educational development centers for boys, girls and adolescents living in rural areas. The very first center was established in 1963 in Urrao, Antioquia. The programme has since then spread and multiplied into other regions offering formal schooling as well as agricultural and agroindustrial capacity training that provides access to superior education for rural children and their families. The Autosufficient Comprehensive Farming Model is a rural development alternative created by the Foundation where all technologies, administrative, organizational and productive strategies focused on promoting community development are put into practice while safeguarding the environment and its regenerative systems.
